Composite resin veneers are made in one appointment directly at your dentist’s office. The dentist reduces the visible surface of the tooth if needed.
Composite resin matching the color of the adjacent teeth is applied to the prepared surface. A LED light hardens the composite that is then adjusted and polished to give it a glossy finish. Composite veneers are less expensive than porcelain veneers but they usually don’t last as long. In fact, composite tends to lose its luster over time.
